The 38th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society for Biomedical Mass Spectrometry

The 38th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society for Biomedical Mass Spectrometry (JSBMS) will be held on this September 26th and 27th, 2013 at Kobe Industrial Promotion Center located in the area of JR Kobe Station, Kobe, Japan. It is only five minutes' walk from the station to the Center, which is very convenient to visit.
 
In this meeting, we will invite two special speakers. One is Dr. Sanford P. Markey of National Institute of Health, USA as a special speaker on Expression Microdissection and the other is Dr. Hiroyuki Inoue of National Research Institute of Police Science, Japan as an invited speaker on Police Science and Mass Spectrometry. We are also organizing four symposia; tentative themes are as follows: "Resolution of metabolic disorder syndrome" (organizer: Prof. Seiji Yamaguchi), "Metabolomics diagnosis" (organizer: Prof. Fumiyo Kasuya), "Drug intoxicated diagnosis" (organizer: Prof. Kenji Hara), and "Mass spectrometry imaging" (organizer: Prof. Toyofumi Nakanishi).
In addition, we will have two luncheon seminars and a technical workshop. Oral Presentations and Poster Presentations in the area of biomedical mass spectrometry will be invited.
